  • Swift Wines are new generation classics — mindfully grown & mindfully made to inspire conversation & connection. They make vibrant, expressive, thought-provoking wines that make life more fun. (In other words, not your Great Aunt Jenny's sauvs).

Crowned the inaugural ‘NZ’s Young Winemaker of the Year’ at just 25, Lauren Swift has spent the majority of her life obsessing over grapes in their various forms. Growing up on an orchard in Marlborough, her first job was learning the fundamentals of grape growing (and picking — there was lots of picking) on a neighbouring vineyard. Swift Wines are the makers of modern classics. Fun, vibrant, expressive wines for everyday celebrations.

  • Dabblers all started with a couple of beverage enthusiasts wanting to make a gin they wanted to drink. Adrian and Samuel started to dabble in distilling a few years ago with the ambition of making the most creative gin in New Zealand. Both having studied Food Technology and with over two decades of industry experience between them,  they went about experimenting with different techniques and ingredients.

After a couple of years of creative testing (and plenty of tasting!), they developed their infusion process that enhances all that Mother Nature has provided us with, to make a new wave of flavoured gin. They thought their gin was too good not to share (or at least that is what their mum's told them), so here they are with a range of tipples to experiment with and Dabble in

  • Our distillery is nestled in the bush, down a gravel drive, off a single lane road, in the Reikorangi Valley, Kapiti Coast, Aotearoa New Zealand. It's the place where New Zealand's trail-blazing craft brewery, Tuatara, was born and so there's a real sense of 'something in the air' around the place. Spiritual even.

We capture rainwater - hundreds of thousands of litres - on site which we charcoal filter for the production of our gin - it creates an unmistakably pure taste experience. We distill in an eight plate fractionating still using local produce wherever we possibly can. The rest is secret...

  • We only grow heritage apple and pear cultivars specific for their use in cider production.

They differ in bitterness or dryness of flavour. We have many different varieties, with names like Slack Ma Girdle, Knotted Kernel, Bisquet, Brown Snout, Kingston Black.

They are not the easiest to grow, generally not the nicest to eat, can set poor crops and ripen at vastly different times. Not many people making cider use these apples.

    However, they make great cider

  • Premium Kiwi spirits with nothing to hide. After years spent home brewing, starting a small batch distillery was always a dream for high-performance motor mechanic and award-winning distiller Vaughan Campbell. But a leukaemia diagnosis was the kick he needed to follow his dream, to leave a legacy his kids could be proud of.

Inspired by a news article, Vaughan set his sights on reducing food wastage. Only a short few years, and an award winning competition entry later, Good Bones Distillery is now set on its course to converting New Zealands food waste into high quality, double distilled, premium Vodka.

  • It all began when in May 2021 we fell in love with a house just outside of Whanganui/New Zealand and decided to relocate from windy Wellington. The house, as it happened, came with two sizeable pear orchards, and that's when people started asking us: What are you going to do with all the pears?

Turns out, the answer was: gin. Fast forward a year and we're running a craft gin distillery in Upokongaro, on the banks of the Whanganui river.

We're passionate about sourcing as many botanicals as we can locally and try to stay close to home: we use pears, kawakawa, lemon, lime, figs, quince, basil, rose hip, stinging nettle and rosemary all of which are growing right behind our house. We love to connect a creative product to the environment it was created in.

Our signature Orchard gin emulates the fertile land of the Papaiti flats, the orchards that frame our home, and the native bush on the banks of the Whanganui river.

  • Kaimai Brewing and Distilling started out as a hobby and grew into a passion. They say every brewer wants to grow up to be a distiller and this has certainly proved true with the owners – Wayne and Kathy Chowles. The journey started some years ago with a batch of over ripe Feijoa and a tiny still which turned out the first batch of very average spirits, but the promise of great things to come. Over time, with many hours reading, learning and experimenting, we arrived at the point where we could call our work “fine Spirits” when we were awarded a gold medal for our Elizas Claim Gold Gin in the 2021 NZ Spirits awards.

Our gin is proofed with pure artisan spring water and infused with a range of locally and internationally sourced botanicals which combine to create a truly unique flavour.

Since then we have expanded our range which now included five styles of gin, a spiced rum and, our newest edition a honey moonshine.
